I wanted to do an entry on what I believe makes the artist.
I believe an artist is someone who tries hard on something they use to express themselves. It doesn't have to be a piece of artwork you can hang up in a museum. It can be a poem spoken to an audience, even a sport played in front of a crowd. It's something you work hard on, that you hope you can share with others to enjoy.
That's "art", but i'm moving on to "artist".

and "artist" isn't just someone who can make art, but help others struggling with it. they don't "bash" someone for "messing up" something. they give constructive criticism to those who ASK.
they also put something in their artwork, a piece of themselves in it. give it life.
and you don't say "you're amazing and no ones better then you" or anything. you can say you dnt think you're good enough, or say its coming along good/great, but you an't be cocky and think you're the best.
you can amazed by simple things an artist puts in their work, maybe get some inspiration.

this is why young children are the best definition of "artist". everything in their work is a piece of them.
they grow up though, and forget those things.
Practice does make the artist though. practice learning how to be open to others work and accept them without "bashing" them. to accept your own work without being cocky. to accept constructive criticism.
to learn your own style and make your imagination a reality.
